Katharine: post-FAWCO conference Tea at Robyn's

A wonderful spread was laid on by Robyn, with contributions from Anne of her magnificent sandwiches (Anne is the best sandwich-maker ever) and lemon yoghurt cake (made by Peggy from Kim's recipe - from Season, of course!), a chocolate fondant cake, served with cranberries and cream, made by Robyn, and an apple tart.  Accompanying all these delicious treats were cookies and chocolates.

The scarf that Maggie is wearing is a very delicate pink silk, with the image of the new FAWCO Foundation campaign - FAWCO Foundation Backing Women - imprinted on it (it's the image of the painting made specially by the BIL of Nan de Laubadère.  The scarf may be purchased from the FAWCO Foundation website.

Maggie provided an account of the FAWCO conference in Brussels, (see prior posting) and also
brought back books that she is adding to our AWG library.  These include the FAWCO book Beyond Borders, and others that she felt would be of interest to AWG members.

Maggie also had a drawing for the goody-bag she had brought back from Brussels, which was one by Phyllis' friend, Francine.

Thank you, Robyn, for hosting the group - Jessica, Susan Rey, Peggy R, Katharine J, Patricia R,
Anne S, Phyllis B, her friend Francine, Katharine C, and for Maggie for telling us about the busy time she'd had.  Maggie also took 20 copies of Season with her to Brussels - and came back with none. Thank you Maggie!
