Robyn: Book Group selections for 2014-15

Here are the books that Book Group will read over the 2014-15 club year, all the way through to October 2015.  Book Group normally meets at 2pm on the nominated date at Le Bookshop, EXCEPT on January 9th. 

November 14th- Travels with a Donkey by Robert Louis Stevenson, nominated and presented by Denise Parent (check location).

December 5th- Wait For Me by Deborah Devonshire, nominated and presented by Peggy Rigaud

January 9th- Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas - a play for voices, nominated by the group and for members to read excerpts of their choice. Meeting to be held chez Robyn Pappas's apartment.

February 13th- A Yellow Raft in Blue Water by Michael Dorris, nominated and presented by Patricia Robb. 

March 13th- The Glass Room by Simon Mawer, nominated and presented by Katharine Claringbull

April 10th- Disobedience by Naomi Alderman, nominated and presented by Leslie Lieber 

May 29th (date chosen due to holidays)- Olive Kitterige by Elizabeth Strout, nominated and presented by Maggie Palu

June 12th- The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde- nominated by Louise During and presented by Robyn Pappas 

Germaine Greer:  it's time to get angry again

September 11th- 2 books for summer-The Female Eunuch and The Whole Woman by Germaine Greer- nominated and presented by Louise During

October 9th- Little Bee by Chris Cleave, published in the UK as “The Other Hand”- nominated by Maggie Palu, presentation TBA
