Katharine C: Cook&Eat chez Denise

The baton, passed from Caroline to Orla last year,  has now passed to Denise who is the 2016 Chair for Cook&Eat.  The inaugural session was held in October.

Denise's program will focus on cooking vegetarian food.  Today we cooked a spicy carrot salad (watch out for those piments verts on your fingers and eyes);  a vegetable tagine with steamed "slow" couscous (the couscous takes longer than the instant couscous cooking method, but is infinitely better);  and baklava for dessert.   Denise found the elegant flamingo napkins in Versailles, and these graced the table.
