A group of seven of us - Sue Rich, Peggy R, Rosie, Katharine C, Maggie, Robyn, Peggy F, convened at Sue's home for a morning of creative work. The two Peggy's had spent the day prior collecting greens for the project. It was most enjoyable to work at Sue's kitchen table and talk in a convivial way while we got creative (some of us are much better at it than others, but we all ended up with credible efforts). Rosie told Sue subsequently that she hoped that Sue wasn't chasing red berries all over the kitchen floor after we'd left. A delightful lunch followed, including veloute de cepes with truffles; Tunisian salad with pomegranate seeds; Mac and cheese with swiss chard (blette); a celeriac maindish, product of Maggie's gourmet classes; chocolate pie, fruit salad and mince pies. Well,
it's hungry work all that floristry!
Thanks Sue for a smashing morning, and thank you Peggy, our Garden Group coordinator.
